NICK Clegg yesterday denied that the Government had estimates of how many Romanians and Bulgarians are likely to move to Britain.
His comments add to the confusion over the issue.
Two weeks ago the Liberal Democrat leader claimed he had “seen estimates” of the number of migrants expected to arrive when restrictions are lifted at the end of the year.
But yesterday, on his weekly radio phone-in show, the Deputy Prime Minister said: “No. The Government does not have those estimates.”
