Two Romanian men have been charged with raping a woman in Portadown.
Ioan Aurel Lacatus (24) and Aurel Teglas (20), both with addresses in
Corcrain Drive, appeared today at Craigavon Magistrates Court.
They were jointly charged with the rape of the female on August 25.
A detective constable confirmed he was aware of the facts of the matter
and believed he could connect the defendants to the alleged charge.
No application was made for bail by a solicitor acting for the two
defendants.
They were remanded in custody to appear again by way of videolink on
September 19.
Legal aid was granted.
