TWO thieves were caught red-handed after they broke into a city centre shop and stole mobile phones.
Romanians Adrian Astratinii, aged 31, and 20-year-old Codrin Iacob smashed a window to get into Cash Generator in Hanley.
They took two phones worth £200 but were arrested by police as they tried to run away.
North Staffordshire magistrates heard officers were called to the Stafford Street store at 4am on June 16.
